Here is the classic originally released on {Jam Packed Cat# JPI-101 US} in 1983, I grabbed the '89 Pandisc version. Despite either a horrible pressing, or a nasty scratch on my Vinyl, the B side of this record was very scratchy at the beginning.
I grabbed the intro from the A side (Vocal) and replaced the instrumental intro...until the break. I edited the crossover as tight as I could.

The Shining: A Masterpiece Of Modern Horror [Original Soundtrack] [1980] {WB 56 827}

Archived direct from the archives of Juan Oyarzun's record collection (1969-2007). I remember the day this vinyl arrived at Juan's apt. There was an issue with the initial delivery, luckily he was there for the following attempt. This record is fairly rare, an early synthesis masterpiece that Juan introduced me to, purchased off of an Italian on ebay this German pressing is in great condition. Often overlooked is the vinyl feel an older archival project may introduce. Some opt for audio correction techniques, possibly declicking certain areas. I am not entirely against post corrective techniques to decrackle or dehiss a recording, at times this "feeling" introduces an aspect that is inevitable, the aging and natural wear of a vinyl. Instead of post processing the audio I'd prefer a good cleaning! If done correct, results can be impressive.

This recording was not post processed and in regard to my thoughts above, the vinyl feel in this vinyl is particularly special when noting where this LP comes from. Thank you Microsapian...
